David Zollinger

David Zollinger completed his basic studies in Sinology and Japanese Studies in 1986 and graduated from the University of Zurich with a licentiate in 1992. After completing his studies, he worked at Zurich courts for three years before starting his work in Zurich in 1996 as a district attorney (today's name: public prosecutor).
In 1998, he switched to international legal assistance and money laundering, which he headed from 2000. In 2007 he moved to the management of a private bank, where he was responsible for the Eastern European private customers area. He has been working as a management consultant since 2012 and as an independent lawyer since 2016. Since 2001 he has been teaching at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences in the field of white collar crime / money laundering. From 2011 to 2016 he was a member of the supervisory authority for the Federal Prosecutor's Office. He publishes regularly on specialist topics and was co-author of the commentary on the Money Laundering Act in 2003 and 2009.
In addition, he advises companies on corporate security and crisis management (including crisis communication). In some cases he takes on mandates in the field of mediation.
David Zollinger works in an advisory and litigation capacity and is admitted before all courts in Switzerland; he is entered in the bar register of the Canton of Zurich and a member of the Zurich Bar Association.
